Judith Jacob leads Forward Risk’s geopolitical risk and security intelligence practice. She has over a decade of experience and engaged with clients across a wide variety of sectors including extractives, insurance, financial services, aerospace and technology, helping them navigate complex geopolitical events and mitigate threats to their personnel, assets, and reputations. She has also served as a consultant and trainer for international security organisations such as Interpol and gives expert advice to governments. She frequently provides commentary about geopolitical developments to major international news outlets and represents Forward Risks at academic conferences.
Judith has lived and worked in the UK, Singapore, and Indonesia, and led in-country projects in Cambodia and the Philippines. She has spent over a decade in the field, beginning her career as a global terrorism analyst before focusing on geopolitical intelligence. Prior to joining Forward Risk, she led the geopolitical intelligence team of another security intelligence provider. She also holds PhD from the London School of Economics, where she specialised in the development of militant Islamism ideology in Indonesia.
